Dear parents,
Welcome to our final term before the Summer. We are delighted to have you on board. This is a short term and we have alot going on. At week 3 Coaches are processing your child along our Certificate route and are also preparing end of year reports.
BANK HOLIDAYS: There will be no classes on during the bank holiday Mondays of this term. Hence why the Monday class term fees were amended to the lower amount.
SIGNING IN/OUT GYMNASTS AND CHILD SAFETY @ COLLECTION:
If a parent wishes to collect their child early it is imperative you sign them out at the reception desk, similiar as you would if they were in school. Therefore if you are in a rush please allow time to complete this.
When collecting your child please do not ask them to leave the premises and cross the car park on their own. We kindly ask you collect at the reception desk.
Nominations are been put forward for Gymnast of the Month. The coach of each class will nominate a different gymnast each month and then all gymnasts nominees in that specific category will be raffled off for an EGC customary TShirt.
We would also like to congratulate gymnasts that travelled to to the National Training Centre in Blanchardstown. They represented their club amazingly and we are just so proud of you all. They brought home a fine tally of Medals.
We are now looking forward to our next bunch of gymnasts travelling on the 12/13th May. Once all the competitions are finished we will give our competitive gymnasts a feature newsletter dedicated to them and their successes.
END OF YEAR EVENT:
Every year at EGC we run some sort of event. Due to popular demand PARENTS WEEK will run on the very last week of Term. Parents are welcome to attend their child’s class in their gym gear and let their little gymnast coach them. Kids get a great kick out of it and it really is great fun.
EGC END OF YEAR AWARDS AND DISCO
This is a brand new event for EGC ,we have decided to have a small awards event and follow it up with games and a disco. The awards will be selected on the night and nominees can be put forward by coaches, gymnasts and parents through out the month of June. Some of these awards will be for comical value such as “craziest coachâ€, and more such as “hardest workerâ€, “best listenerâ€, “most improvedâ€, etc. We also plan to have a members only raffle and a parents only raffle. Again tickets will be on sale from the 1st of June. More details will follow.

GYMABLE GYMNASTICS FOR SPECIAL NEEDS:
We will be commencing our programme in the coming weeks and are opening this programme to children with Down Syndrome up to age 12 that have been tested for AAI(Atlanto Axil Instability) please ensure those that’s have previously expressed interest have dropped off the above form. Please complete Special Needs Expression of Interest
